EO-based MetOcean data, chlorophyll and turbidity monitoring for enhanced operational awareness
EO PROJECT IMPACT
- EOMAP’s EO tools will provide insights into MetOceandata with a higher resolution & less uncertainty than publicly available (e.g. wave, wind)
- Water quality products (Turbidity, HAB, Chlorophyll-a) (REQ-MRE-12)
- EO data for enhanced modelling, e,g, wind, salinity, temp. (SST)
PROJECT CONTRIBUTIONS
- Contribution to a new environmental monitoring use-case with in-situ data to validate the tools.
- Contribution to understand the needs and requirements for the effective monitoring of a marine renewable energy operator.
